About

This two-day interactive workshop introduces psychologists to the principles and practice of performance psychology.  Drawing on Psychological Flexibility frameworks, contextual behavioural science and contemporary performance psychology practice.  The workshop is designed for psychologists who wish to strengthen their ability to support performers, whether in sport, medicine, the arts, business, or other high-pressure domains.

Participants will gain a clear framework for conceptualising performance issues ranging from performance optimazation and high pressure environments, from perfectionism to confidence traps and learn how to apply neurobiological and optimise performance, in high-stakes environments. Practical skills will be developed through case studies, experiential exercises, and guided practice.

The overarching goal is to equip psychologists currently working with high performance individuals or interested in working with these clients in private practice with evidence-based strategies and applied tools.
